It’s intimidating to try to create a research poster from scratch! That’s why we have downloadable PowerPoint®  poster templates for many common sizes of scientific posters. They give you a place to start, as well as an attractive layout that you can edit to your heart’s content. The graphic design work is done for you, allowing you to focus on the content.

We have a large selection of templates you can download in ppt and pptx formats. We’ve been told by many researchers that they can create a poster in one or two hours by copying and pasting their content into one of our PowerPoint templates.
Typically, the conference will tell you the size of board on which you will be displaying your poster. It is not necessary to fill the board, however. We print a lot of 36×60, 36×72 and 42×90 research posters that will be displayed on a 48×96 poster display board.
Download the template for the size of poster you want, then copy/paste your content into it. We find that it works best to get all of your information on the poster first, which will give you an idea of what to put in each column and let you know if you are going to have enough space. If need be, you can select all, cut, change the page size, and paste everything back. Once you have everything on your poster template, use the guidelines that we provide to get everything lined up. You’re done!
